Hey y’all, I’m Jen.
I’m Jen Cousar, a graphic designer, newbie UX’er, and design educator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am currently working full time as a faculty member in the Advertising + Graphic Design program at Central Piedmont Community College. I also recently completed a masters degree in User Experience Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
For me, design is all about problem solving and creating research-driven solutions that are both functional and visually striking. I’d describe myself as collaborative, thoughtful, spirited, and a girl who dreams in vivid color and can’t get enough musical theatre. I have an eclectic perspective to offer and a lot of passion and spunk to go along with it.
